Refunds & Returns Policy

Overview
This Refund Policy applies to purchases made through The 40+ Collective website, including digital products, online courses, coaching programmes, and one-to-one life coaching services.
We are committed to providing high-quality products and services and complying with applicable UK consumer protection laws.
Digital Products
Digital products include, but are not limited to:
- Ebooks
- Audio downloads
- Music downloads
- Video downloads
- Course downloads
- Digital guides
- Digital workbooks
- Downloadable resources
- Other digital content
Under UK consumer law, consumers generally have a 14-day cancellation period for online purchases. However, when purchasing digital content supplied immediately after purchase, you may be asked to expressly consent to immediate access and acknowledge that doing so means you lose your right to cancel.
By purchasing and accessing digital content immediately, you agree that delivery begins straight away and acknowledge that your statutory right to cancel may end once access or download has started.
Refunds will not normally be provided where:
- The digital content has been downloaded or accessed
- The purchase was made in error by the customer
- The customer changes their mind after access has been granted
Refunds may be provided where:
- The digital product is faulty
- The file cannot be accessed or downloaded due to a technical issue attributable to us
- The product is materially different from its description
Online Courses
Online courses may include videos, audio recordings, worksheets, downloads, ebooks, exercises and other materials.
If a course has not yet been accessed, customers may request cancellation within 14 days of purchase, subject to applicable consumer rights.
Where immediate access to course materials is provided and the customer has agreed to begin receiving digital content during the cancellation period, cancellation rights may be reduced or lost in accordance with UK consumer legislation.
Refund requests may be considered where:
- Access cannot be provided due to a technical fault on our side
- The course is significantly different from its advertised description
Refunds will not normally be granted due to:
- Change of mind
- Failure to complete the course
- Lack of time to participate
- Dissatisfaction based on personal expectations rather than misrepresentation
Life Coaching Cancellation by Client
Coaching sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled without charge if at least 48 hours’ notice is provided.
For cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled session refunds may not be available and the session may be treated as delivered.
Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice may result in the session being forfeited without refund.
Coaching Packages
Where coaching packages are purchased and coaching has not yet commenced, customers may be entitled to cancellation rights under applicable consumer legislation.
Once coaching services have begun at the customer’s request during any applicable cancellation period, any refund may be reduced to reflect services already provided.
No refunds are available for completed coaching sessions.
Faulty or Misdescribed Products and Services
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
If any product or service supplied by The 40+ Collective is faulty, not as described or does not meet reasonable standards of quality, customers may be entitled to remedies available under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
